Meet Max Martin
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
As Chairman and CEO, Max creates and plans the strategic direction for the organization. Before founding ARGO in 1980, Max worked at EDS, a large financial services and healthcare software outsourcing company, where he was VP, Financial Services Division for 11 years.
In 2013, Max was recognized for his outstanding entrepreneurial achievements by being selected as the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year® for the Southwest U.S. in the software technology division.
Before starting his career in the financial services and healthcare industries, Max served five years in the United States Air Force, where he was on staff at the Air Force Academy, specializing in communication technology.
Max grew up on an Illinois farm. He attended Southern Illinois University, earning degrees in both mathematics and economics. Max and his wife, Judy, live in Richardson where they raised three children. When not working, Max and Judy enjoy ranching, archery, and skiing.
